QUALITY GUARANTEEWhat you Get...Your photographs are printed on an Epson Stylus Photo R1800 printer using premium grade or better Epson paper and genuine Epson 8-color UltraChrome pigment inksets. This combination is used by many professional photographers worldwide and provides exceptional photos with significant archival longevity. Tests suggest these prints should last at least 110 years without fading when stored under standard glass (as in a picture frame), longer under UV-blocking glass, and even longer if they're stored in the dark (surprise!). I'm confident they will provide a lifetime of enjoyment if cared for and displayed out of direct sunlight in your home or office. I offer standard-sized prints for which mat and frames are readily available at your local craft store. For best longevity of the prints, mat and mount them professionally with acid-free products. As a rule I do not offer matted and framed photos simply to keep costs low and minimize shipping charges. I do have access to a mat and frame shop where I can do the work personally using acid-free materials, so, perhaps, I may be able to offer this on a case-by-case basis if you're willing to pay the price. A discrete signature, copyright date, and Limited Edition number (if applicable) are included in one of the lower corners of the print. I use only archival quality, acid-free pens, generally with silver or gold metalic ink. The image colors you see online may vary slightly from the colors on the print you receive due to differences in monitors and viewing conditions. Further differences may exist because monitors show "backlit" images, while prints are "frontlit." These online images are also, by necessity, low resolution representations of highly detailed pictures. In short, I guarantee my prints to be of the highest possible quality, having been viewed and prepared at my end on a calibrated monitor and printed as described above. LIMITED EDITION STATEMENT: Some 8x10, 11x14, and 13x19 images are offered as a series of signed, numbered, limited edition prints based on image size. These are clearly indicated below the image in the gallery. 5x7 prints are not limited, but are signed and dated. This distinguishes my photographic "limited editions" from those of traditional artists where the engraving or mold is destroyed at the end of an edition. In the digital age my integrity is behind my limited editions. Once I reach the edition number for a given size of a picture, no more prints of that size will be produced for that image. Many people have told me they think numbered prints are part of the appeal of fine art prints. I also think it's a fun way to keep track of the larger pictures I sell, and a means of encouraging me to stay on my toes and get more high quality photos. RETURN POLICY: If you are unhappy with the images you receive for any reason, return them in their original package within one week of receipt and I will make it right -- either through a full refund or exchange as you prefer. I may ask questions, but only to better understand how to improve my service! PRIVACY POLICY: Alaska Focus Nature Photography, LLC will never provide your personal information to anyone. Ever. If you pay through PayPal, I won't even see your credit card or bank account numbers. Your privacy and trust are important to me. |
